Track your Blythe collection

LOADING DATABASE…

Pullstring is a free, fan-made database of every Blythe release, with lists for the dolls you have, the ones you want and the ones you'd trade. Here's how collectors use it.

What's the easiest way to keep track of my Blythe collection?

Make a free account, then find each of your girls in the database and add her to your Collection. Pullstring already knows her face mould, skin, hair, eye chips, outfit and release date, so you don't have to type any of it in.

Your collection shows as a shelf, and you can see totals for how many dolls you have and how many are still in their boxes.

Can I keep a Blythe wishlist and an ISO list?

Yes. Every doll page has buttons for four lists: Collection, Wishlist, ISO (in search of) and Trade. You can also choose one doll as your grail, the one you'd give anything for.

If you switch on ISO alerts, Pullstring checks eBay for the dolls on your ISO list and emails you when new listings turn up.

What can I record about each doll?

For each girl you have, you can note when you bought her, what you paid and in which currency, and her condition: NRFB, boxed with full stock, full stock, partial stock or nude. You can add your own photo of her too.

What you paid is only ever shown to you. If you choose to share it, it's added anonymously to the price guide on that doll's page.

How do I find out which Blythe I have?

Search by name, year, hair colour or eye chip colour, then narrow it down by size, face mould and skin. Each release has her own spec card with photos, so you can compare her with the doll in front of you.

Spot a detail that looks wrong? Every doll page has a button to flag it.

Can I share my collection or wishlist?

Yes. Each list can become its own page. Share it and you get a private link with a random code, so you can post your wishlist on Instagram without anyone finding your page by guessing. Make a new link any time to switch the old one off.

Does Pullstring help with trades?

Pullstring matches your ISO list with other collectors' trade lists, so you can see who has the girl you're looking for. Doll pages show who has her open to trade once you're signed in.

Pullstring never handles money. Please trade carefully, and use a payment method with buyer protection.

Is it free, and is it safe?

It's free, with no ads and no tracking. You go by a handle rather than your name, your email is never shown, and nobody can search for you by place unless you switch that on. Photos you add are cleaned of hidden details like where they were taken. Collectors' profiles and shelves are only visible to people who are signed in.

You can download everything you've added, or delete your account, at any time. The privacy page has the details.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Pullstring works in any browser, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.

I used My Doll Collection. Is Pullstring similar?

My Doll Collection inspired Pullstring. Pullstring adds your own collection, wishlist, ISO and trade lists on top of a full release database, and it runs in the browser, so there's nothing to install.

Where does the release information come from?

From twenty-five years of fan archives and the official Blythe site, including Bla Bla Blythe, The Dolly Insider, Blythopia and the Blythe Wiki. Each doll page credits its sources.
